Over 70 iconic aircraft are displayed at Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, dedicated to the history of aviation and the Royal Air Force. The museum uses two sites (the other one is in London) to introduce visitors of all ages to internationally important aircraft, housed at this location inside three large hangars. Don’t miss a rare chance to see the world’s oldest Spitfire, part of an extensive Warplanes Collection. The museum also includes the National Cold War Exhibition, opened in 2007 to showcase V bombers and other aircraft used during the Cold War era. The exhibition uses "silo theaters" and a variety of media to depict the key events of those years. The museum also offers special birthday party packages, with private rooms available for rent. • A good day out with my family, absolutely stunning planes on show. You can sense the history of each planes and artifacts when reading about them. The museum is so big and you will need 4 hours at least see everything. The best thing was it was free with only a parking charge, its also kid friendly. We will visit again definitely.
  • Whether you go as a family, friends, or even alone, there is alot to see and learn. The kids area is amazing and educational. I have been going here for about 13 years and i have been more than 30 times. That is how amazing this place is. I highly recommend. And this is coming from a 15 year old
