Designed by architects Pringle Richards Sharratt, the building is primarily made from concrete and glass, with a series of galleries extending from a central avenue, which connects Arundel Gate with Sheffield Winter Garden. • This does have pure quality about the art that is on display. It's a place to chill and explore. It is for sure a huge learning experience for all ages. There is also a small gift shop available selling a variety of items. Also, if you need a beverage then it is connected to the Peace Gardens so it easily accessible to get food/drinks.
  • Great pieces of art from a recent competition and, in a separate section, a fascinating history of Sheffield steel. Free entry but obvs donations welcome and frankly rude not to - display of this quality needs support. We visited the gallery which was free to enter and marvelled at the workmanship of the items on display. Excellent information on the items on show
