  • We had so much fun here. Lots of cockpits for the kids (aged 6 and 12) to sit in and press the buttons, uniforms for dressing up in and we loved sitting inside the Comet too. My son was lost for words when one of the guides (who are fantastic) told him he was touching a nuclear bomb. Watching the skydivers come down in the field outside was an added bonus and just as memorable for the kids!
  • A very interesting visit. The historic aircraft are very well restored by a team of dedicated volunteers. This is a work in progress and aircraft are being restored all the time. The most unique thing is that visitors can sit in the cockpits where the pilot sat, switch switches push buttons etc. The volunteers are very knowledgable and on hand to answer any questions. They have restored a complete Harrier Jump jet that flew in the Falklands war. Great! Thoroughly recommended.
