  • Even though it is closed at the moment there are a lot of placards in the windows so you can get a bit of history of Rye by reading them. Don't know when it will reopen. It's a lovely building.  more »
  • It is well worth visiting to listen to the 15 minute show and see the model of Rye which brings the really interesting history of Rye alive. I seem to remember it cost about £3 per person.  more »
  • Took my granddaughter for a walk to see the boats.. yes there was some boats there in the mud as the tide had gone out.. She was very disappointed at no water bless her. Ice cream van on site was very expensive.. we walked across the road and I had a lovely rum and raisin on lovely biscuit corner.. Much nicer and cheaper.. they even do a smaller one for kiddies which was perfect for my granddaughter x
  • Charged 50p for a map of historical Rye yet given a larger map for free from Rye's Library and Information Centre. Staff made effort to be helpful but we arrived 10 mins or so before closing so wasn't enough time to find out more information. Will return again for tour
