Pitlochry Station Bookshop was founded in 2005 to raise money for charity by selling donated books cheaply. ScotRail provided the accommodation free to encourage the use of empty station property.Make Pitlochry Station Bookshop a centerpiece of your Pitlochry vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Pitlochry trip planner .
In the past decade, the Bookshop has thrived and raised £160,000 from selling second-hand books at £1 each. Because there is no rental to pay and all the staff are volunteers, almost all the money goes to the six charities which the Bookshop supports.

Cute little charity secondhand bookshop right at the station, all books for 1£ unless stated otherwise, variety of works (even some children's books and poetry, plays and a lot of modern fiction); charming lady working there, you can even have a hot chocolate or a coffee to go 😍
Great little shop with second hand books. Just walk onto the train platform to find the entrance. Ideal if you are planning a train journey from Pitlochry and seek something to read.
