RSPB North Hill Reserve, Papa Westray

We chose this walk thanks to the OS map (edition 2019). This map showed us a coastal path that would fork for a moment in the moor to reach "the hill" and then return to the birding centre. We had the map downloaded with us so we could track our progress. We were aware of the birds nesting on the ground and we didn't want to disturb them, especially since we knew they could attack if they smelled their nests threatened. We made our walk without any problems until the fork. Crossing the moor was really difficult as the path was not marked and full of water. Birds nested in all directions forcing us to change roads constantly. Arriving at "the hill" and not finding the way we reached the coast edge that we walked along. We were attacked twice by 1 artichoke Stern and it's very scary. We were really very, very far from his nest. We finished our walk as much as possible in the rocks so as not to disturb the birds and not be assaulted anymore. The walk over we saw a sign only indicate the walk along the coast and more that across the moor?! Despite this the coast is wonderful.
