Nutbourne Vineyards, Nutbourne

This is a lovely place to visit for a birthday treat! We were warmly welcomed by the owner Bridget and treated to homemade cake and coffee before setting off around the beautiful vineyards. The tour was very informative and the views of the South Downs quite spectacular. We were given a excellent demonstration of the whole wine making process from vine to bottle. We enjoyed all the wines we tasted and came home with a good few bottles! The Nutty Sparkling is lovely.

We dropped in to taste some wine. We just loved everything about our experience! The location was quaint, unique and the actual room where the tasting is done, was one of a kind. It was located in a very old mill! We got to meet Kobus, the winemaker and the lady Francis, who explained the vineyards, the process and poured the wines for us, was one of the best assets to this great artisinal winery experience! Highly recommended! We will go back if we are ever in the area again!
