Tup Tup Palace Reviews
Bouncers were totally rude, knocked us back for no reason at all and all were laughing as they did so. Avoid at all cost. more »

WE WERE SCAMMED. Last night a friend and I were leaving Tup Tup and as we got to the door we were stopped by a waitress who accused us of pushing her in the ribs which forced her to drop her drinks. We apologised as it was a busy night but we were both sure we weren't in the wrong. The waitress was in hysterics that we had hurt her ribs, but both of us are small and it is hardly likely we would have been able to leave such an impact by accident. I had had too many to drink and my friend was trying to get me to the ambulance which was parked outside, but we were held up by the bouncer and the waitress who were very aggressive and telling us they would call the police if we didn't pay for the lost drinks. As we are both international students in our first year, and because we were trying to get to the ambulance, we didn't know what to do other than to pay the £48. We didn't receive a receipt, nor did the waitress tell us her name. We were scammed because we were two young and vulnerable girls.
YOUNG GIRLS AVOID AT ALL COSTS Me and my friend (both newly turned 18) went here on Saturday. The only good part was that I got free entry because I had my birthday sash on which Im glad I did seen as entry was £8!! The drinks were extremely over priced and heavily watered down. There were older men (at least mid 30s) forming a circle around the dance floor watching all the girls dance and it felt very predatorial and made a lot of the girls there feel uncomfortable , so uncomfortable that there was a clear divide on the dance floor. Not only this but the toilets were a state and some of the staff were very rude. We were sat at a booth for a while as no one was there and our feet hurt but then one of the bouncers told us we had to move as they were reserved even though no one used them all night. Overall , save your money and give this a miss.
