  • we have passed the sign to Pentre Ifan on the main road several times but have now with no rush taken the time to visit this chamber. the site is looked after by Cadw and although there is one important signpost missing we did find it and I must remark on the fantastic view from there, I would recommend anyone coming there to bring binoculars to scan around. As for the stone structure it's amazing how a 16 ton stone balances just on 3 points and how long it has been there, what a peaceful well maintained site.
