Maryport Golf Club was formed on January 21st 1905. It is situated on Cumbria's Solway coast, approximately 1 mile north of Maryport. To the West across the Solway Firth, visitors can enjoy fabulous panoramic views of the Scottish coastline and to the East the Lake District Fells. The course is situated in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.

A wonderful feature of Maryport golf course is that it has a mixture of links and parkland holes. After the opening links holes, you are on to the gently undulating countryside before reverting back to closing links, and a warm welcome at the 19th hole. At 'The Clubhouse' you will have the opportunity to chose from a selection of delicious 'home cooked' meals, prepared and served by Chris and Lucy Johns.

Coastal winds dramatically affect play at Maryport, and the wind is virtually ever present. However the beauty of playing golf here at Maryport, is that you rarely feel you are playing the same course twice! The trees that feature on the parkland holes continue to mature. As a result what was once considered to be the easier part of the course, it is now becoming increasingly more difficult!

We sincerely hope you will visit Maryport GC.
