Westminster Chapel is located a 4-minute walk from St James Park underground tube station. If you come out of the Park & Broadway exit, then you will take a left and walk down Petty France. However, if you take the Victoria exit, you will need to take a right and make your way to Petty France. You can also visit by walking from Victoria Station. The best exit is via Cardinal Place, which is a shopping centre just 7 minutes walk from the Chapel. It is a friendly congregation with many students that attend. If you're looking for a church for students, this has got to be up there on the list of most active student congregations. The service is typical charismatic / evangelical format. They start with 2 songs of worship to loosen the mood, take up the offering, then a 45 minute sermon before around 15 - 20 minutes of continued worship and response. Unlike some other churches that I attend, non-believers are not called to receive blessings and join in the communion. However, the communion only happens once every month or so, which is a shame. Sermons are often part of a series that lasts between 4 - 8 weeks, so if you want to try the church out, I would consider riding out a full series. The teaching is less focused on exegesis or reading long passages, and more on bite-size truths.
