Wellcome Collection is a museum examining the links between medicine, life, and art through contemporary and historic exhibitions. Explore the permanent exhibit, Medicine Now, which uses art, mixed media, and artifacts to explore modern medicine. Check out the exhibition space to see any temporary exhibits or events. The museum is also host to the world-renowned Wellcome Library. Browse the collection for literature on medicine and its role in society. For more reading, head to the on-site bookshop. End your visit by resting your legs and mind in the cafe. Make sure you look out for the Pablo Picasso painting as you leave the building's foyer. • What an interesting place to visit whilst working in the capital, very friendly staff, lots to see. Whilst there I took advantage of the restaurant upstairs, the food was delicious, great quality, ser...  more »
  • I happened to pass by, so I entered the museum with a feeling of rain shelter. On the main floor, i think it's a replica of the body of the body, of course, but it was a rather demanding content lol on the library floor, people taking naps, people studying, etc., were hesitant to take pictures because it was a quiet space. A very mysterious, chaotic and tricky museum. If you have time, please come and see us.

  • Stunning collection of wonders. The reading room is extraordinary. Brilliant place to chill and work. Full of fascinating books and artifacts and some peculiar points of interest. Every few weeks there's a new exhibition and there are regular special events and talks. Really wonderful building too full of architectural interest, including a man on the ceiling.
  • I didn't really know what to expect coming here but I loved it. There is a mixed bag of stuff and perhaps others would like the topics to have a more coherent umbrella but I enjoyed jumping from 1 topic to the other. There is some really well designed interactive elements and even our DNA code. Even better it's free!
