The Jugged Hare Reviews
Dropped in here after an exhibition at the Barbican. Went for a couple of bar snacks and plumped for the haggis in an oat crumb with apple. One tiny slice of haggis and a small portion of chips was a ... more »
Really good after a long day on business. Couple of beers in the bar. Followed by dinner. Some great dishes. I had the fish pie. One of my colleagues had the rabbit pie both great. Will go again. more »
Very classy pub in the heart of London. Can be busy on Thursday and over the weekend as is placed very close to big corporations and Barbican centre. People prefer to have a drink after theatre or concert dinner. It is one of the cleaniest pubs in London so far. I love their White Russian cocktail but also the other drinks they offer. Do not expect very fancy cocktails because it's still a pub and not a cocktail bar.
Handy pub located where there aren't many pubs around. The drinks are slightly expensive. It's a small pub - There's not much standing space near the bar or many tables with seats, so it's always a squeeze at busy times. There is a separate gourmet restaurant attached with plenty of tables but which is always full as it's very popular. In the summer there is extra seating across the road in a space with some artificial turf and some tables.
