Savile Row, London

Our Heritage:

At The Savile Row Company, we’ve spent almost 75 years tailoring the perfect shirt for you. We’re a tight-knit, family-owned company, so we take clothing you extremely personally. Perfectly constructed and timelessly stylish, all of our goods are made to last.

We’re the only family of the Great British made-to-measure tailors to have translated their art into a ready-made collection of comparable quality. Our entire range is held to the very same high standard of craftsmanship of our forefathers while priced to provide excellent value for money.

Our History:

The Savile Row Company initially manufactured and provided quality clothes to many famous London department stores. Sadly, the factory was completely destroyed during the Blitz. Yet, only a year after the War ended, the business was re-started with a new focus on menswear. We moved our manufacturing over to Northern Ireland and enjoyed even greater success, continuing to supply large, countrywide chain stores, independent retailers as well as individual firms established and operating on Savile Row.

When we opened our own flagship store at 40 Savile Row, we decided to shift the emphasis of the business to selling directly to the public. Since then we’re proud to say we have built up an incredibly successful ‘direct’ business. Our mail order and e-commerce operations go from strength to strength and the ‘Made-to-Measure’ service offered at 40 Savile Row has never been more popular.

About Savile Row:

The Savile Row Company is based in the heart of London’s prestigious Savile Row, the undeniable global capital of exquisite traditional menswear and tailoring. The street became synonymous with fine tailoring in the 1800s when legendary dandy Beau Brummell and his merry band had their suits cut and social clubs founded in the area. Ever since then, Savile Row has been the go-to for fine suiting for everyone from military leaders to members of the British Royal Family (and indeed royals the world over).

Independent and family-owned for generations, The Savile Row Company has been making impeccably tailored shirts since 1938. The Savile Row Company brand is sold in over 30 countries worldwide.
