  • Enjoyed the beasts of London exhibition The galleries are always educational and have so much to see As always I enjoyed the Roman collection  more »
  • A museum not always highlighted in the guides and it's a shame because beyond the fact that access is free, the passage through time proposed by the museum from prehistory to the modern era in the UK is fascinating. Also note the temporary exhibitions (count 10) which are of great qualities and very accessible for children (besides avoid the school groups of english youth on visits;) I saw the exhibition on the great fire of London of 1666 or even recently the Beasts of London it was just fabulous especially since I had the exhibition to myself!

  • Great free museum. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and thought it would be a lot more busy but there was plenty of room to move around and see everything easily. It's well laid out and takes you through the history of London in a logical order. Well worth a visit and close to a few transit stops.
  • You can see a big part of City’s history in a one place. You can see first iconic London black cab, Pearly Kings suit 1891-1900y, real old shops from the cities streets and more-more interesting things. Recommended for families, friends, groups of tourists. Facility: Lift, escalator, toilets, portable chairs for visitors.
