Ice Rink Canary Wharf, London

3.0
#75 of 315 in Fun & Games in London
Ice Rink Canary Wharf has returned to Canada Square Park for 16 magical weeks of ice skating beneath the twinkling lights. Open seven days a week, it's the perfect place to enjoy one of London's most loved winter traditions.

Take a turn on the ice, skating around the main 1300 sq m rink or gliding gracefully through the serene skate path. Back by popular demand, the path leads you on a new route this year underneath the park's enchanting canopy of trees.

If you want to eat, drink and shop all in one go, Canary Wharf is the spot. Stay close to the action at the rink-side bar, or choose from the array of restaurants, bars, and shops surrounding the ice rink. And it's not just during Christmas that you can take a spin on the ice, Ice Rink Canary Wharf opens seven days a week from November 2017 through to February 2018.

  • This place is amazing. Best enjoyed if you book one of the first two sessions of the day - as it won't be crowded. I love their music and the big screen and it's great for kids too! They have lots of options for little ones. You can purchase skate aids (they're not included in the ticket price and have limited availability!) or get double blades to tie to your little one's shoes, instead of wearing the one blade skates they offer kids, as the double blade helps kids feel more confident on ice. There's a car park nearby and lots of options for quick and tasty food around. Really recommend this place.
  • I haven't skated here but have walked past many times and looks like a great setup. I've never seen it too crowded with a reasonable size too. Location is perfect, pretty much in the centre of Canary Wharf so very easy to get to, so well worth checking out if you are looking for some skating action in London.
