Camden Market, London

4.4
With hundreds of stalls selling clothing, crafts, and food, Camden Market is one of Europe's largest markets. The nexus of one of London's most offbeat neighborhoods, the market joins together a series of smaller markets. Start in Camden Lock Market, the one that helped give rise to the others. Here you'll find music, films, books, crafts, and unusual gift items. Head to Camden Stables Market for vintage clothing and antiques. Most of the markets contain food stalls, but go to Inverness Street for fresh produce and continental-style restaurants. Sunday is the busiest day here, and the Camden tube stop restricts inbound service in the afternoon to help manage the crowds. You'll find fewer people--but also fewer open stalls--on weekdays. • Such a quirky area in London, we loved it! The shop fronts are fantastic and can stumble upon some fantastic art there, definitely recommend for anyone who loves tattoos and piercings. The fresh orange stall is a must visit. Inside the actual market it can be a bit suffocating but its definitely worth the experience
  • Camden market.. happening place.. goods at reasonable price with hard bargain. Well connected by metro and bus.. Worth visiting. Canal lock for shifting boats up or down the canal is worth seeing.
