  • Between the years 60 and 61 D. C., Imperial Rome was ruled by Emperor Nero and Britain suffered its domination. The Celtic Queen Boudica organized a rebellion by presenting battle to the Roman legions, with a terrible outcome for the British. The sculptural ensemble represents the Queen and her two daughters who were part of this event. You can admire It at Westminster Bridge. To Keep in mind: to Remember that the sense of the circulation of vehicles in the United Kingdom is inverse to which we are accustomed in America and Europe, to keep in MIND to avoid accidents when crossing the streets. Enjoy LIFE... Enjoy Boudiccan Rebellion because: LIFE... It's a Trip!

  • The life of this woman enchanted me for years, everytime i go to London i take a picture next to her. And i hope, someday, a redhead women ask me the way to Rome 😁
  • Overshadowed by the imposing Elizabeth Tower located just across the street, there is a nice monument to the historic figure of Boadicea and her daughters, riding a chariot, pulled by two horses. Boadicea was the Queen of a Celtic tribe who led an uprising in 60-61 AD against the Roman forces that occupied Britain at that time. The monument was created by Thomas Thonycroft in 1864. It was then cast in bronze in 1902 and situated at is present location on the Victoria Embankment near Westminster Bridge. It is a nice monument to see, if you can avoid being distracted by the Clock Tower and its beautiful clocks which are staring down at you from across the street. Just remember to give Boadicea a few minutes of your time as well.
