  • This statue stands in tribute to George Bryan "Beau" Brummell, who was a well known figure during the 18/19th century during the period known as the Regency. Known principally for being a dandy, his manner, witty sayings, friendship with the equally opulent Prince George and falling out with said prince This statue show Beau dressed as an early 19th century gentleman. The statue is nice enough to look at, but I can't help but feel the money would've been better spent on someone who actually contributed to society.
  • Statue of Beau Brummell (the beautiful Burmmell). His name is George Bryan Brummell, and it seems that he was a fashion icon in England during the prinicpio of the 1800. Friend of the crown, the nobility, the powerful and the beautiful women. He Began a brilliant career as a minister of fashion and taste. It Seems that he was a dandy, an exhibitionist, witty, original tasteful for clothes, and to impose that taste on others. He is credited with the creation of the modern suit of men wearing a tie or some kind of handkerchief knotted Around his neck. Also to have made it fashionable.
