  • Fantastic museum that is free to enter! And its run by lovely volunteers. Fascinating local history, and the children loved doing the owl trail. We didn't have any, but there were cakes & refreshments for sale downstairs
  • Owned by the National Trust and I think run by the local council. It is free to enter and is full of interesting artifacts on three floors. The staff on duty were polite, friendly and helpful. They even started up a antique large music box for me to listen. A great visit for a rainy day.
