  • This place is just beautiful... very well looked after and clean... I love the camping and have been at least 10 times.... They have very good showers and the buildings are well maintained... lots to do also and it's a really good location to stop of and stay the night if you are touring around on a motorbike. The cafe is very nice. Foods pretty decent and they have plenty of shops around the sites.... Great for BBQ and a wonderful spot to spend the day with the family.
  • Glad it wasn't raining. Stopped at Parklands Cafe and they sold filter coffee which gets a star from me. After all, you need to get the basics right. My wife had a scone which was good value and she loved it. I had a sausage roll which they heated in the microwave so it was soggy, flaccid, and unpleasant. Sitting outside is lovely with decent picnic seating and good views but the decor inside is awful. It looks like they borrowed the furniture from a 70s sitcom. The walled garden made for a pleasant walk and the time garden was interesting and informative. The place advertises as being dog friendly but passably dog tolerant would be more accurate. They are banned from most areas that you would want to visit.
