Baddesley Clinton, Lapworth

Built sometime in the 15th century, Baddesley Clinton is a moated manor house noted for its historical importance and Elizabethan Tudor architecture. The manor contains paintings of the Ferrer lineage, which has made the house its home for over 500 years. After the Protestant Reformation in England, the Ferrer family remained Roman Catholic, and throughout the house you can explore the secret passages they built to conceal and protect Catholic priests. A beautiful estate surrounds the manor house. You can explore the garden and take a walk on trails that wind through 200-year-old oaks.
