The Falls of Glomach, in Ross-shire, Scotland, is one of the tallest waterfalls in Britain, with a drop of 113 m (370 ft).

The falls border Kintail, donated to the National Trust for Scotland in 1944 and subsequently incorporating West Affric in 1993. It is not easily reached on foot, requiring an 8 kilometre trek through remote and wild countryside.

  • Beautiful walk through the highlands. No walk in the park... bring your hiking shoes, water and food, because for untrained folks this can be a pretty rough one. It's about 9km one way and a 500m altitude difference. Saw some wild deer on the way and the waterfall itself is stunning.
