Forgot to add a review, doh! The Whisky Experience is whisky heaven, all manner of whisky is available and the shop owner was polite and gave us samples to try; he also explained how to drink whisky which was an eye opener. The prices range from decent to unbelievable, but we are not talking about the mixed versions you get in a supermarket, this is the real water of life. If you are in the area, always make time to stop and enjoy the experience and don't forget to take some home pleasure later.

Superb whisky experience. Plenty to buy and taste, very engaging staff. Lots of other spirits here now too; local gins and some very nice rum. They have a guided tasting room which I've not used but looks good. Location is tricky with strict Scottish drink-drive regulation; even a taste puts you at risk. Very much worth a visit especially if it's not your turn to drive.
