Loch Tay Boat Centre, Kenmore

Everything was okay during the day. we managed to get the propeller out of water and couldn't put it back in, so they came out and helped us which was great. when we got there we were shown how to turn engine back on and were told not to go underneath the bridge, don't go near islands and keep to the middle. grand. coming back - nightmare. Where we docked the boat, our space was gone. There was no there so we went round to the other side of the platform you walk on to dock the boat. Woman started shouting saying "no you can't do that you have to reverse". This wasn't very helpful and also was not shown how to reverse in the first place! There was an open space we were trying to manoeuvre and turn to which many people kept shouting at us instead of helping - and we ended up going into a docked boat. We were then brought up to the side we originally pulled up to and were allowed out there. I do not understand why we couldn't have done that in the first place and wouldn't of had all of this happen. I didn't find the service very professional. We told them from the beginning we have never done this before and they still never told us how to dock the boat coming back (which would have saved this whole palava) and how to reverse etc. boats are in good condition, but the service needs to step it up. They need to be clear that passengers are aware of how to get back, how to work ALL directions of steering the boat and be more specific of where we are allowed to go on the loch (lady kept shouting we aren't allowed there, we weren't told that!). Disappointing experience for my first time here - will not be back in a hurry.

So 5 of us left dundee at 730 in the morning having been awake for and hour prior as we approached the loch at 10 to o in the morning after driving all morning were called by owner to be told no boat will be going out that day so that was a waste of time no way to run a business should have been out to check earlier than that to let people know wont be back
