  • We went to 11 castles in Scotland, this was one of our favorites. In historic Scotland pass so get in free with it. Don't miss the old etchings. Easy parking.  more »
  • beautiful large rooms with authentic furniture, but in May it was very cold in the castle and the el. Radiator sat had all the trouble to get some room temperature. But very nice stay on our trip to Scotland

  • The major structure of the castle is intact so you can still go up to the top and down into the depths, but nothing has been re-created so it has a ghostly, eerie feel to it. One of my favorite castles in Scotland, and much less crowded!
  • Great 600 year old ruins. On the historic Scotland pass. one of our favorites out of 11 castles we visited
