  • This is a property that does not know where it belongs. It has been used for a number of different purposes and the National Trust do not seem to know how to "dress" the house. There are plenty of empty rooms and you are left to your own imagination. Worth a visit though. Cafe was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
  • Splendid park land and house. Had a great family day out. The gardens and park land are simply stunning and big enough to find space even on the busiest of days. There is also a fun playground and natural play area for the little ones, which should keep them entertained. The estate has a really interesting history and in the not to distant past was the home some of the early radar trials. The estate was also used by the Krishnar movement and had links to George Harrison.
