    We entered the museum with quite low expectations as we've been to small museums before and been underwhelmed. This was much better than we thought. Myself, my husband, and our children aged 8 and 9.....  more »

    Very friendly and very informative of local history. We were give trails for the kids to follow and we enjoyed doing them ourselves. If history is your thing then this place is great. Thoroughly recommend it.

    Packed with fascinating historical objects and decor. Lovingly and carefully displayed in small rooms. Somewhere you could spend hours or just one hour. A hidden gem really. Loved the layout, especially the last leg down the spooky mine!!
