Frensham Common covers roughly 1,000 acres (400 hectares) of attractive countryside, lying midway between Farnham and Hindhead on either side of the A287.

Frensham Common is owned by the National Trust, but most of the land is managed by Waverley Borough Council.

Frensham Common is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, Special Area of Conservation, Special Protection Area and includes a Local Nature Reserve (the Flashes).

Car park charges apply Good Friday until the beginning of September on weekends and Bank Holidays. Car park closes 9pm daily.
