Climb to the 1,130 m (3,7010 ft) summit of Creag Meagaidh, offering three marked trails for hiking and breathtaking views of a pristine area. From the highpoint of the Allt Dubh trail you can take a 10.4 km (6.5 mi) round trip to the Coire Ardair. At the end of the 1.1 km (0.7 mi) Alderwood trail a picnic area offers shelter under a carved piece of oak. Hike, climb, and watch birds, but be sure to bring plenty of food and water, along with a map and waterproof clothing.
