The Silverton Inn is a family-run free house located in the centre of the picturesque Mid Devon village of Silverton, just a few miles from Devon's capital city, Exeter. We are ideally situated for holidays, business trips and the University of Exeter.

We offer excellent homemade food, local beers and comfortable bed and breakfast.

Great Food

We pride ourselves on great homemade traditional British cooking. We justifiably boast about our homemade food from the chef's speciality pies to locally sourced prime steaks and we even grow our own herbs and chillies on the premises.

Comfortable Accommodation

We have seven comfortable, stylish rooms.

Our four recently refurbished standard bedrooms have a modern look with LCD TV's, hospitality trays, ironing facilities, hair driers, central heating and complimentary bottled water.

Our three newly built luxury en-suite large bedrooms are fitted out in a relaxing, contemporary style. All are equipped with luxurious 1000 air sprung pocket mattresses and 32" LCD TV's, each have ironing facilities, hair driers, central heating, hospitality trays and complimentary bottled water.

  • What a gem of a Pub/Hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room I stayed in was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The option of a choice of cereals, fruit etc was a nice touch as I had to leave for work earlier than the breakfast serving times. It was like a home from home to be fair. The pub was a friendly affair too and the food served there was excellent. When I’m next in town, I will be heading back here. 10/10.
  • Had a lovely overnight stay on the recommendation of a local (as we weren't familiar with the area). Room was compact but absolutely fine and the en-suite shower room was fantastic. Incredibly helpful and accommodating staff and lovely beakfast. Can't fault!
