Performances at the New Theatre include Classical, Modern and Musical including new theatre works.
Also as a venue we host occasional musical events including folk & strings performances.
The theatre is an intimate space situated just above the Exeter Quay.
Auditions are held monthly from February to July for this three year vocational course.
Based in Exeter, Cygnet is one of the leading drama schools in the country. What makes Cygnet unique is that the school operates as a working theatre company. Students leave the school having experienced first-hand what it is really like to be a working actor, and this has lead to an unusually high percentage of Cygnet graduates working regularly within the industry.
