  • The castle and the museum are very worth seeing. Highly recommended is the Offer Museum+Tea+Boats Tour, which can be solved at the museum box office: entrance to the museum, tea and scone in the museum café and a 90-minute boat trip to the monastery island of Devenish Island. The evening tour at 5 p.m. is the most beautiful when you experience the ruins of the monastery in the silence of the dusk.

  • Great to see the history and such at this historic site. I'd you're into military history, this is the place for you. If you just want to see a castle, you'll be probably disappointed, as this place has been upgraded throughout the years. There is a decent amount of the "old" castle left to be seen, however. Good place to visit if you're in the area, but questionable if going out of your way is worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
  • Stopped for continental market that was held there. Even though it was very busy, was able to get a free parking spot in the car park beside. Place is well kept and clean and this was on a very busy day
