  • Loved the effort gone into this museum. Some of the stories really captured me. Especially where a English and a German soldier later became friends and exchanged stories.... The cafe has a wartime theme to it. Food was hot a fresh. A lot to see here. A day out is needed here if you like to read all the snippets. There are some letters sent from soldiers to home and some of the things in these letters are very moving. It really gives a sense of what it was like. So for teaching people or for people reminiscing about the war and the Lancaster bomber this is the place to go to.
  • Just popped in for a lunch and coffee. Did not have time to visit the museum but we shall return. The food was ok ,not brilliant but tasty and good value. The staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful...great atmosphere.
