  • This village church is surrounded by a large churchyard and delightful cottages. One approaches it via a wooden double aspect swing gate and then a path lined by trees. On entry it is very dark as all...  more »
  • A building of the 13th century, later rebuilt and enlarged in the 18th century. An interior with stained glass Windows, benches, stone columns--a sober environment as befits a church. Sîlêncio and sobriety are part of the place. I couldn't resist! Did my prayer, I sat for a few minutes, took pictures and left better than entered. Interesting entrance gate. A curious idea to that time that may well have been a precursor of the current banks Rotary entries.
