  • Very interesting house and gardens maintained by National Trust. Beautiful views of Strangford Lough and the surrounding countryside. Lots of trails to explore with a mix of coastal, forest and countryside paths. Something to see no matter what the time of year you visit and many points of interest within the grounds. Formal gardens have recently been restored and are worth seeing. There's so much to see that it would take several visits before you feel you've covered it all. Plenty to keep kids occupied too with a couple of play areas. Tour of house available and recommended.
  • Awesome place. Beautiful nature, very helpful staff and the Game of thrones bicycle tour was awesome. The intro was presented by John, a cool guy with a great sense of humor. Lots of interesting stories and tips. The bikes were cool mountainbikes in a good condition and the digital guide worked perfectly, gave a very good overview and a lot of additional information. All in all a place definitely worth a visit.
