Had a very enjoyable couple of hours visit to The Dover Museum. I guessed the Bronze Age Boat would be amazing.........which it was but they also have some very important artefacts across 3 floors... more »

We sorta stumbled on this place while walking through Dover. What a pleasant surprise. Very informative museum filled with some nice visual history of the area. Wish we had more time and we'll need... more »

It was very good and well worth looking at!! It also has a lift to all floors of museum!! It is also the tourist office and the ladies were very friendly and helpful!!

This is Dover's Museum, as you'd expect Dover has a long history and the exhibits on show here illustrate that well. Some of the exhibits about the development of Dover over the years were particularly interesting. The reason why we went was to see the very old boat which was found in Dover Town. This is fascinating and truly ancient history. Entrance is free a visit is well recommended if you have an interest in history and this part of the country
