    We have done the walk around Loch Kinnord several times and in both directions. It’s beautiful in all seasons.  more »

    Vat was great. Just 5 minute walk from car park. Visitor center is very interesting. After we took trail around loch. It's a nice walk but not much views. It was bit longer than I expected and it was getting dark by the end of walk. Still great place for walk.

    Beautiful ancient Scottish national reserve. Superb open Scots pine forest with the added benefit of the Burn O Vat geological rock feature. Tread carefully upstream and escape into a jurassic like world of greenery and blissful peace and quiet. Heaven on earth!
