  • The large guild building in Derry is one of the most interesting buildings in the city. The palace was built in the late nineteenth century and is located just outside the walls, next to the shipquay gate, while on the opposite side flows the River Foyle. The Guildhall is freely accessible and offers a small exhibition area on the ground floor and the beautiful room on the first floor, but it often hosts weddings and other events and therefore can easily happen that it is not accessible.

  • What a discovery, small exhibition showing the key points of the history of this wonderful city. Impressive stain glass decoration, only for that it worth the visit. Free of charge entrance is always a bonus.
  • If you're visiting Derry-Doire I highly recommend a visit here. They often have really good free exhibitions. Good cafe at the back of the building.
