On a sunny day there were fantastic views. There are benches around the outside of the castle and it was very pleasant to sit and admire those views. I was only glad that I didn't have young children with me, there were some unnoticed shoes and drops.
It a lovely small coastal village with a lovely beach with little rock pools for your young ones to play in. BUT PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TIDES AND THE STRENGTH OF THE WAVES. There's lots of little cafe's and small shops to visit. The castle is well worth a visit. Come and enjoy.
