The cafe is open all year and offers light meals, hot and cold drinks and ice cream.
The first floor of the old coach house has a number of craft workshops where you can watch the individual craftsmen practise their skills.
There are country walks throughout the park, through fine mature woodland and grasslands. You can see a varied habitat and a great variety of wildlife throughout the year.
The Hall is unfortunately not open to the public but can be viewed from the park. The present hall, built in 1863 on the site of a previous hall, is thought to be the third hall on this site. Like all old buildings, it does have a ghost who has on occasions been known to visit the old coach house.

Not very big if you are looking for a long walk within the park. Good facilities and play area for young children. Plenty of dog litter bins although some disgusting people still seemingly refuse to..... more »

A beautiful, clean country park. Stunning views. Lots of free parking. Great park for kids with sand area. Cafe does nice and reasonably priced food and drinks. The little shop has some nice bits in too and very good value. We manage to get round lots of the areas with a buggy, although there are a few tricky paths. A lovely place to take a picnic and enjoy some fresh air. Lots of dog walkers and there were dog water bowls outside the cafe. You can buy duck feed in the shop and sit on the benches around the lake feeding the ducks.
We have been using East Carlton Park for many years and love it. It is brilliant fun for all ages. There is a very pretty play park for kids and a nice little cafe for the grown ups. We take our dogs for a walk through the woods. It does have steep hills and a little pond, but it keeps you fit. The views are stunning. Parking is free. I remember paying for parking once many years ago but they had a fun fair going and I am pretty sure it was all for charity. The Park is very well maintained and so relaxing. It is definitely worth a visit.
