  • There is a lot to see here for what appears from the outside to be a small place, and the museum covers a wide range of local interest topics, including Ruskin (of course!), Arthur Ransome, local geology, lace making and a fascinating account, in his own words, of a local man who was lost over France during WW2, and spent the next year helping the French Resistance. It also has a special room for Campbell and his Bluebird, which offers a lot of info for those interested in the topic
  • No parking outside i hate to say it but it was very information driven rather than entertaining lots of reading of boards may not hold the attention of younger children
