  • Love this place. If you just want coffee or a meal the cafe is good with fabulous views over Strangford Lough. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it has good access for disabled. You have to pay to get in to see all the ducks and bird life. But the grounds are large and there are great areas for the kids to explore and play in. Any time of the year is a good time to visit.
  • Brilliant day on Fri 5 July 2019. My 7 year old granddaughter had a ball! Excellent meal in restaurant and lovely staff. My only gripe is the profile of the road ramp at the entrance - the road height needs to be heightened on the Castle Espie side to prevent cars scraping exhausts etc. I mentioned this to staff at my last visit. Have changed my car since and both of them “bottomed” even though I drove very slowly over the ramp.
