  • Small but perfectly formed. Great things go in small packages. Etc etc. But it's true. It cost £7 for adults and £3 for children over three. It is a charity based funded museum. All those working here are volunteers. It's great. Truly great. If your little one loves planes then there is little better. If they don't then I guarantee they will still love it. Sitting in the planes, running around them, having a go on the basic but brilliant flight simulator. Playing in the bus, the fire engine, control tower there is something for everyone honestly. They have some viewing platforms in place so that you can watch incoming and out going planes, takeoff/land from the adjacent airport maybe 600meters away. My boy (2yo) was completely ecstatic and beside himself. My daughter absolutely loved it too and she is 8 and has no interest whatsoever in planes. To the volunteers thank you, your knowledge and kindness will never be forgotten. We will be back many times over and over I'm sure. Thank you again.
  • Hidden gem in my humble opinion. Not many aviation museums where you can get so hands on with the planes on display. Small but enough to do and keep you occupied for about 1 to 2 hours. If you take a picnic you could sit and the kids could enjoy the planes on offer.
