A quaint arts and crafts garden, Hidcote Manor Garden contains different themed outdoor "rooms." Explore the maze of narrow pathways leading to the each room, take a moment to reflect on one of the many ornate benches throughout the property, or find a place of seclusion among the taller trees. The gardens are home to a vast number of exotic plant species from all over the world. After your visit, follow the Monarch's Way path to the quaint hamlet of Hidcote Bartrim and its traditionally thatched "chocolate box" stone cottages. Hidcote Manor Garden Reviews
We weren't sure what to expect in later September but the gardens were still lovely. The garden room layout makes for intimate spaces to enjoy different flowers and plants. We enjoyed the manor rooms ... more »

Hidcote Gardens has to be one of the best if not 'The Best' gardens I've ever seen and visited. It is a maze of smaller gardens combined with great lawns, wilderness, kitchen gardens etc... it goes on and on. If i had to sum it up I'd describe it as a garden theme park with so many different area themes, it simply has it all. We visited on a very hot summer's day which always helps with impressions. The approach to the house itself, situated in a walled courtyard gave us a feeling of being somewhere in France, it just had that grand farm house slightly rustic feel, hard to describe until you visit. There are old cobbled garden paths as well as easier access paths, something for everyone... you can tell I'm now a big fan so I'll stop going on and let you find out for yourselves... enjoy!
So much to see at Hidcote Manor. The house itself is relatively small but interesting surrounded by a variety of wonderful gardens. A fabulous place to explore, each path leading to a choice of directions and no area disappoints, from the slowly meandering stream to the pool area , to the long grass walk leading to a gate that displays wonderful views. Colour in abundance! Excellent facilities with a wonderful plant shop. Refreshments good but a picnic area also available.Plenty of parking. Always something new to see no matter how many times you visit.
