Buckingham Chantry Chapel (also known as the Old Latin School) is a 15th-century chapel and a National Trust property in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England. The chapel is the oldest building in Buckingham and is noted in particular for its Norman doorway. Few buildings in Buckingham date to before the 18th century, as a large fire destroyed much of the town in 1725. The chapel is a Grade II* listed building, being added to the list by English Heritage on 13 October 1952.Plan a Buckingham trip in moments using our itinerary builder.

To be able to have a good read, have some nice coffee inside a chapel it's pretty amazing!
Nice place to stop for a coffee and a piece of cake, peruse the many second hand books on sale. This is a 15th century chapel with Norman influence in the structure which was restored by Gilbert Russell in 1875 and is now owned by the National Trust.I believe it is the oldest building in Buckingham once having been a school, hospital and church. The staff are very friendly and will happily tell you about the history of the building. Parking is non-existent so you will have to find somewhere to park nearby and walk there.
