  • Had a lovely Sunday afternoon walk through the woods. Arrived about 3:30pm and the pathways were very quiet though there was a short queue at the café and ice cream van.  more »

  • Beautiful park set in the grounds of an old mansion which isn't there anymore but there are plenty of signs of it being there. It has an amazing history with various information posts all over the place. There's plenty of woodland to walk or jog and is great for taking the dogs for a walk. The main area is great for picnics and also offers a great little cafe. There's plenty of parking.
  • Fantastic place for a country walk. Only downside is it is popular and the free car park fills up quickly - so get there early. There is another small carpark just down the road but is further away from any facilities. Do the long walk on a nice day. Beautiful
