  • A great place to spend a few hours on a sunny day amongst the lavender. Photo opportunities abound for pictures with these fantastic flowers. There are also large areas given over to wildflower meadows which are very picturesque indeed. The the tea rooms serve a large number of cakes which use lavender as one of the ingredients I sampled a lavender brownie on my visit it was delicious. There is also a well stocked gift shop on the site with lots of lavender themed gifts. You also have the opportunity to look around the area where the lavender oil is distilled though this was not in use on my visit.
  • A great place to visit and spend a few hours. Have a wander in the lavender fields. Visit the distillery where you can find out what happens to the lavender during oil extraction. Round off your outing with a visit to the cafe and gift shop where you can find all sorts of things lavender. A wonder time spent visiting there which included a guide giving the story of how Cotswold Lavender began, how they harvest the lavender and how they get the best out of the many varieties they grow. A must for all lavender lovers and maybe others too. The cafe serves a lovely coffee and has scones, cakes egg for you to enjoy.
