Spend a sunny day at Brighton Palace Pier, home to numerous rides, attractions, food stalls, and bars. The historic pier combines entertainment, shopping, and dining to attract millions of visitors each year. This pier originally opened in 1899 and went through a number of expansions and redevelopments. Most recently, in 2006, two famous thrill rides were shipped to the pier from Italy. The Booster, arguably the site’s most popular ride, allows visitors to experience nearly 3 G's in less than 3 seconds, rotating 360 degrees before plunging back down. I love a pier and I love the seaside. Perfect. LOADS of games and all your classics plus roller coasters and all manner of fun available. All round exactly what you expect. Great day. Also beyond stunning at sunset.
. Great beach and PIER! LOVELY!! . Absolutely clean and safe! . Lots of fun.. . Children enjoy a lot.. . Lots of scope for photography . Parking was a bit problem . Public wash rooms available NOTE: Few pics en-route also included in the collection. Commonly known as ‘Brighton Pier’ (officially, Brighton Palace Pier) is 1760 feet long & was opened in 1899. There were 3 Piers in Brighton, out of which this one is only operational, now. Presently, this is only an entertainment place. With lots of rides & attractions, the pier functions on all the 7 days a week. The entrance of this beautiful place is free, one has to pay only for food and rides. The views are amazing, from the pier. The beach also adds as another attraction to visit the place. Other interesting places are Britain's oldest electric railway station (built in 1883), Brighton Wheel (Brighton Eye?), etc.
