Warm up by visiting the temperate and desert houses, which are home to birds who enjoy hotter and drier conditions. Stretch your legs by exploring Marshmouth Nature reserve, a secluded 1 hectare (2.5 acre) trail through marshland, ponds, meadow, and copse with views over the River Windrush. Check the website beforehand for the shedule of bird feedings and “meet the keeper” sessions. To plan Bourton-on-the-Water vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

  • Been several times before, but this time in a mobility scooter. Extremely easy to negotiate everywhere, although some of the hedging? does need cutting back.  more »
  • Thanks for such a great place! The staff was very friendly, all the birds look like they are well treated! Penguins were having fun and were splashing visitors with water!  more »

  • The Birdland was very nice. We been with our kids 8,10 years old they very enjoyed. I can just recommend the visit and little advice don't miss the walk in the village is beautiful. Birdland have very nice different species of birds and is very nice place to walk.
  • Visited here today and it was a good morning out - we booked online and you get a better price than paying over the counter so you will save yourself money. I am giving it 4 stars purely because of the parking outside, we arrived early enough thankfully but it was mental when we went back to the car park. We paid £3 odd I think for a few hours. Overall its a decent few hours out for the family
